Training renowned journalists and providing coaching for important factual programmes such as the evening news programmes ZIB 1 and ZIB 2, the Sunday interview programme “Pressestunde”, the business series “ECO” or the weekly “Report” programme, he gained deep insights into the communication strategies of the media and knows how they implement them.
Stefan has been training top journalists and TV hosts for many years. He has worked with the well-known Austrian anchors Armin Wolf, Ingrid Thurnher, Tarek Leitner, Roman Rafreider and Armin Assinger, to name just a few.
Top trainers are constantly broadening their horizons, not only taking part in CPD in their own field of business but also in complementary areas.
Stefan completed a psychotherapeutic training course (person-centred talking therapy) enabling him to recognise the needs and expectations of media consumers, while also allowing him to provide individual support to those who are required to communicate well in extremely stressful situations or under high pressure.
Apart from his journalism training and working for the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) for 15 years in the capacity of editor, managing editor and TV programme director, Stefan also attended drama school in Vienna and has five years of experience working as an actor. He is therefore very familiar with the importance of stage presence and positive body language.

Stefan founded Intomedia in 1999 and made it the leading media training institute in German-speaking Europe. Every year, he and his team of experts prepare some 1,500 people for various media appearances. In addition, Intomedia supports companies and organisations in their media campaigns, helps them to master media crises and also supports politicians during election campaigns.
