Professional background
Peter has worked as a journalist for more than 30 years, spending more than 20 years of this career in high-level positions, as chief editor for a former daily (Arbeiterzeitung), for a business magazine (Format) and for a weekly (News), which he latterly also published. In addition, he has been a lecturer for well over 20 years at the University of Vienna, training journalists, and has chaired the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation’s (ORF) Sunday discussion rounds since 1997. Today he is a partner at Intomedia and, in his capacity as an independent journalist, a columnist for "News", author of "Format" and chair of the monthly ORF 3 “Round of chief editors”.
