Professional background

Peter Susko studied journalism at Comenius University in Bratislava. He began his career as a radio journalist in Bratislava, Slovakia, working for the foreign news department of Slovak Public Radio. In 1992, he was appointed international radio correspondent in Rome, Italy; in 1993, he was transferred to Washington, D.C., U.S.A. in the same capacity. Upon his return in 1995, Peter joined the private media as a radio and TV editor and presenter. He also has extensive experience from the other side of the "fence": in 2010 he became the spokesman of the Slovak Public Television, later he worked for the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic as the head of the press department, from 2013 as the head of the press department and spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic. From 2018 to 2023, Peter served as the Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to the Republic of Croatia. He has been working with Intomedia since 2012.
